The live Rohu or জ্যান্ত রুই is a delightful experience. We procure the fish live, cut and clean it and deliver it to you on the same day. We do not store the fish.

Special Conditions for Live Rohu Orders

1. Whole Fish Only – You cannot buy just a part of the fish. The entire fish, typically around 1 kg in size, will be cut into round pieces, including head and tail. After cutting and cleaning, the delivered weight is usually 200 to 250 grams less. The final billing will depend on the actual weight of the fish delivered, which may vary from the per-kilogram rate mentioned.

2. No Returns – Unlike our usual no questions asked return policy, live fish cannot be returned once delivered.

3. Subject to Availability – Delivery depends on the quality and availability of live fish in the market on that day. On days when suitable fish is not available, our team will call and inform you that delivery is not possible for that date.

4. No Delivery on Market Holidays – Live Rohu cannot be delivered on days when the wholesale fish market in Siliguri is closed. This includes Sundays and other major holidays.

5. Cut and Cleaned Only – We do not deliver uncut live fish. The fish you receive will always be properly cut and cleaned, ready for cooking.
